Recruitment Pipeline

Manage candidates through recruiter-controlled hiring stages

The Recruitment Pipeline organizes candidates by Recruitment Status for a specific job.

Pipeline Stages

Veritik currently supports:

  1. New
  2. Shortlisted
  3. Contacted
  4. HR Interview
  5. User Interview
  6. Technical Test
  7. Offering
  8. Hired
  9. Rejected

These values represent recruiter workflow decisions. They are not generated from the AI Recommendation.

Move a Candidate

Candidates can be moved by:

  • Dragging a candidate card to another stage.
  • Selecting a new value from the Recruitment Status control.
  • Selecting multiple candidates and applying a bulk status update.

The interface updates optimistically where appropriate and restores previous state if the server rejects the change.

Status History

When a candidate actually changes from one status to another, Veritik records:

  • Previous status.
  • New status.
  • Change time.
  • User responsible for the change, when available.
  • Candidate, job, and workspace references.

Repeatedly saving the same status does not represent a new transition.

Pipeline Analytics

The pipeline includes current funnel metrics and historical insights. These help recruiters identify stage distribution, recent movement, conversion outcomes, and candidates that may need follow-up.

AI Recommendation Remains Independent

Moving a candidate from New to Shortlisted, Hired, or Rejected does not change:

  • AI score.
  • AI evaluation breakdown.
  • AI Recommendation.

This separation preserves the distinction between AI analysis and human recruitment decisions.

Best Practices

  • Define how your team interprets each stage.
  • Move candidates when an actual recruitment event occurs.
  • Add recruiter notes for context that a status alone cannot capture.
  • Review stagnant candidates regularly.
  • Do not use AI Recommendation as an automatic pipeline action.
