Candidate Profile

Review an individual candidate's AI analysis and recruitment context

The dedicated Candidate Profile at /candidates/[candidateId] combines extracted resume information, AI evaluation, recruiter collaboration, and recruitment history for one candidate in the current workspace.

Candidate Profile

Depending on the source resume, Veritik may extract and display:

  • Name and contact information.
  • Email address.
  • Phone number.
  • LinkedIn URL.

The original extracted resume text remains available for evidence review alongside the structured AI assessment.

Extraction quality depends on the resume format and content. Verify important details against the original document.

AI Evaluation

The page presents an overall score and supporting analysis for areas such as skills, experience, and education. The AI summary explains relevant strengths, gaps, and considerations.

Screening Evidence

New assessments show criterion-level evidence grouped into Required Skills, Preferred Skills, Experience, and Education. Each item includes:

  • Met, Partially met, Not met, or Not found status.
  • A concise excerpt or faithful paraphrase from the CV.
  • The source section, such as Work Experience, Skills, Projects, or Education.
  • An explanation connecting the evidence to the rubric criterion.
  • High, Medium, or Low extraction confidence.

Not found means the CV does not provide enough information. Not met is reserved for information that explicitly conflicts with a requirement. Confidence describes evidence extraction, not the candidate's overall suitability.

Candidate records screened before this feature was introduced show an evidence-unavailable message. Their existing score, summary, and AI Recommendation remain unchanged.

AI Recommendation

The possible recommendations are:

  • Recommended
  • Consider
  • Not Recommended

The recommendation is generated from the job context and resume. It does not indicate the candidate's current recruitment stage.

Recruitment Status

Recruitment Status is selected by a recruiter and may be changed without altering the score or AI Recommendation. Each actual status transition is recorded with its timestamp and, when available, the user responsible for the change.

Recruiter Notes

Notes store human observations and follow-up context. They are intentionally separate from the AI-generated summary so the source of information remains clear.

Only users with access to the candidate's workspace can use these notes. Do not store unnecessary sensitive information.

Activity Timeline

The timeline shows Recruitment Status transitions in chronological context, including the previous stage, new stage, timestamp, and responsible user when available.

Interview Questions

Click Generate Interview Questions to prepare questions based on the candidate profile and job requirements. Review and customize every generated question before using it in an interview.

Delete a Candidate

The Delete candidate danger zone permanently removes the candidate from the current workspace. Expand the panel and type the displayed candidate name exactly, including capitalization and file extension, before Delete permanently becomes available.

Deletion also removes candidate notes and Recruitment Status history. Operational telemetry may remain for security and reliability analysis, but its candidate reference is cleared. A non-PII audit record stores the workspace, job, actor, deleted candidate UUID, reason, and time. The deleted CV slot becomes available again for quota calculation. This action cannot be undone.

  2. Review the score breakdown and criterion evidence.
  3. Distinguish missing information from an explicitly unmet requirement.
  4. Read or add recruiter notes.
  5. Review the activity timeline.
  6. Generate and customize interview questions if appropriate.
  7. Update Recruitment Status based on the recruiter's decision.
  8. Delete the candidate only when authorized and no longer required.
