Each job represents one position and owns its Job Description, AI rubric, candidate list, ranking, pipeline, and analytics.

Create a Job

1. Open Dashboard.
2. Click Create Job.
3. Enter a specific Job Title.
4. Paste a complete Job Description.
5. Select a screening-priority preset or adjust the category percentages.
6. Confirm that Skills, Experience, and Education total 100%.
7. Click Create & Generate Rubric.

Veritik creates the job and asks AI to generate a consistent evaluation rubric for its candidates.

A newly created job starts with the Open lifecycle status. Use Job Management afterward to edit requirements, optionally regenerate the rubric, duplicate the job as a Draft, or change its lifecycle.

What the AI Rubric Uses

The rubric identifies and weights relevant areas such as:

• Required and preferred skills.
• Professional experience and seniority.
• Education requirements.
• Responsibilities and domain relevance.

Every candidate uploaded to the job is evaluated against the same job context.

Set Screening Priorities

Category weights determine how much each area contributes to overall_score:

• Balanced: 40% Skills, 40% Experience, 20% Education.
• Skill-focused: 55% Skills, 35% Experience, 10% Education.
• Experience-focused: 30% Skills, 60% Experience, 10% Education.
• Entry-level: 45% Skills, 20% Experience, 35% Education.
• Custom: any values from 0% to 100% that total exactly 100%.

Setting a category to 0% excludes it from the final-score calculation. It does not remove that information from the resume or make an unstated qualification true.

Category weights are different from the rubric's required-versus-preferred skill distribution. The latter prioritizes individual skills inside the Skills category; it does not replace the recruiter-selected Skills, Experience, and Education percentages.

The backend validates the values and calculates the final score. The AI cannot change the selected weights. Jobs created before this setting was introduced use the Balanced 40/40/20 fallback when screened.

Writing a Useful Job Description

Include explicit requirements and distinguish mandatory qualifications from preferences. Avoid combining unrelated roles into one job.

Instead of:

Looking for a Software Engineer.

Prefer:

Senior Software Engineer with at least five years of experience building TypeScript services, React applications, PostgreSQL systems, and REST APIs. Experience with Docker and cloud deployment is preferred.

Free Trial Job Limit

A Free Trial workspace can create up to 2 jobs. The Dashboard shows current usage. Deleting or otherwise changing data outside supported application workflows should not be used to bypass quota enforcement.

Full Access workspaces are not subject to this Free Trial limit.

AI Generation Failure

If rubric generation fails:

• Confirm that the Job Description is complete.
• Check the internet connection.
• Try again after a short interval.
• Contact support if the issue continues.

Continue to Job Management or Candidate Ranking after the job is ready.
